Here is something new! How to carve champagne cork into your favolite charactor!

 Do you like drinking champagne?

If so, you can use the cork for the new hobby.

You can cut into a charactor that you like!!

This time, I cut, carve, connect and burn then made a darth vader.

Here is how to carve champagne cork with video.

Basically, it is simple like a vegetable carving...but cork is very solid and hard,so I strongly recommend to use groves for protect your hands.

Cut and connect with bond....

Then burned him. You can use color pen or paint set but I chose this way.

There are 2 reasons.

1, I like wood burnning.

2, Darth Vader was born from Mustafa's flames.

I already made some other few friends.

I worry about my friends in Ukraine and Russia but

I'ld like to keep my best work always.

I got TV interview and I made two big vegetable carving.

The theme was "Welcome to Osaka"

Why I carved him?

Because he can speak over six million language fluently.

If he is here in real, We can introduce our city in detail anytime!

but unfortunately I think the program was changed and they didn't show him on TV (><) but it is ok.

Because I wanted to show him to my friend "Mio-chan" who likes him very much!

2. Tsutenkaku 

It is one of the landmark of in the heart of Osaka.

It is not the highest but very unique tower(and town)

I wish I could take a tour of around the tower for you when you visit Osaka!

Wood burning art of Star Wars

 As you may know, I'm Star Wars Fan.

I've made a lot of Star Wars vegetable carving these 15 years.

I love veggie art but unfortunately these art can't keep it for a long time, therefore I was looking for other type of Art that I can keep it for long term.

Then I found "Wood burning". 

I bought the tools for it and I made several wood burning so far.

I'ld like to introduce them today.

How to carve BB-8 with veggie..

Here comes the video of how to carve BB-8 with sweet potato.
I made BB-8 several time and use several ingredient but sweet potato is best buddy for BB-8.

Today is  Star Wars　Day!!

I've been making so many "Star Wars "vegetable carving since 2005.

The character that I made most is R2D2 of course!

I collect them for May the 4th  :)

I made those for my friends and myself.

Those are my memorial R2 and R4 which I made in  Celebration 6!!

I made R4(left) at Star Wars University.

I made R2(middle) and C3-PO at the fan booth.

Mr.Anthony took picture with this C3....it was wonderful memory.

Celebration 6 was one of my most wonderful experience of my life.

I did a demonstration for one hour at the Star Wars　University.

This was our booth.

I made a lot of vegetable Star Wars carving for 4 days.

by the way, Are you going to Celebration 7?

Me? Yes  I'm planning to go there too!!

I wish we could have a booth and panel again and

I wish I could meet my friends!!

Here is the last one today.

one day, I Put  tires on him. 

I made his  body with Daikon,
and I made tires with sweet potato.(because they are more solid than Daikon)

The Saga is coming back!

Some of you may already know about this great news...
Yes , "Star Wars " will be back in 2015.12.18 !!

It is still a rumor, but the character of the old movie may appear, too.

I think everyone have their own opinion about this, but if  you ask me...
I'm very looking forward to see them again in the big screen!

I haven't updated my Star Wars vegetable carving recently
but of course I'm still enjoying Star Wars with my friends!!

it is called  "Moisture Farmers Union"
It is a meeting of the Star Wars fan, by the Star Wars fan, and for the Star Wars fan.

Star tours renewal !

The Star tours renewal open from May .7th in Tokyo Disneyland!

Many of my friends who are Star Wars fan went there today,
and seems they enjoyed a lot!
I was workng at my restaurant just like unual though but
It is always good to hear about a news of starwars.  :)

Actually ,I have been for star tours once.

It is time when I went to florida for celebration6 last year.

 

It was a 3rd days of  C6..... we went to WDW only for Star Tours because

we didn't have much time but It  was so much fun!

 

 

 

by the way, My blog counter shows over 70000! It is the good sign for EP7 :)

Star Wars Celebration review part3

review episode 3.

 

At the 4th day,

we got into ealier and look around the center

because there were a lot of places that we  have not seen.

 

Those REGO's were outstanding!

There were a lot of  huge wallpaper..

 

 

When we walk around, we run into the Mr.James Arnold Taylor

who works as a voice actor of  Clone Wars of Obi-wan!

 

 

After the gate open,

We were very busy at our booth as usual.

We enjoyed talking to people and

very happy to show what we were making.

 

 

as the final day...

Still There was a person who really wanted to meet.
Her name is Mary, from LFL. .
I'm sure she was the most busiest person in Celebration.
She good takeing care of Star Wars Fan from all over the world.













Meeting with her was one of  my main reason of my trip!

 

Also My best friend Mike visited our booth.

He was a very handsom and great guy! (read my 1st review)

He wrote about my Panel at the Star Wars University in detail

on the the Force.net . Thank you so much Mike!

I'm really looking forward to meet him again in

another Star Wars Celebration!

(At the first day) Mr.Steve Sansweet also visited our booth,
it was present surprize!

Afternoon.... I went to the digital studio for shooting a video
 with Jennifer Landa.
Many of you know about her...she is a big star wars fan herself,
also actress, writer and video blogger.

Here's one of  her report of C6.


Jeni was very beautiful and kind lady.
I talked with her while making a parsnip of R2-D2.
It was so much fun!

Speaking about vegetable,
there is one thing that I was surprized...
The vegetables kept a shape for a long time of 4 days.
I thank to the nature.

Master yoda said ....

and could be vegetable too!  :)

After the end of 4th day night,
We Japanese team  had dinner together.
It was a unforgettable night.....

After finish the dinner, on the way we go back to hotel.

We could get into the Orange county center and
took a walk little bit.

There was very quiet, but music of my favorite singer
Billy Joel song played....


There are much more to talk about my trip to Celebration but
that all for now.
