Last month, I have made over 30 sushi cake.

Let me introduce some of my recent item.

This is orthodox sushi cake for a Birthday!

Today is  Star Wars　Day!!

I've been making so many "Star Wars "vegetable carving since 2005.

The character that I made most is R2D2 of course!

I collect them for May the 4th  :)

I made those for my friends and myself.

Thank you all of my friend in Japan, america, and all over the world!

Those are my memorial R2 and R4 which I made in  Celebration 6!!

I made R4(left) at Star Wars University.

I made R2(middle) and C3-PO at the fan booth.

Mr.Anthony took picture with this C3....it was wonderful memory.

Celebration 6 was one of my most wonderful experience of my life.

I did a demonstration for one hour at the Star Wars　University.

This was our booth.

I made a lot of vegetable Star Wars carving for 4 days.

by the way, Are you going to Celebration 7?

Me? Yes  I'm planning to go there too!!

I wish we could have a booth and panel again and

I wish I could meet my friends!!

Here is the last one today.

one day, I Put  tires on him. 

I made his  body with Daikon,
and I made tires with sweet potato.(because they are more solid than Daikon)

Man of the Iron

I made this last year.

 

It's the American strong man but... made with

carrot and sweet potato this time.

I use those small knifes ans some "mukimono"tools

The BRUTUS Magazine

"BRUTUS"  is established in 1980.  It's an old, famous magazine in Japan.
The theme of the book of this month is "mail order".
and my sushi cake is now placed in the Brutus magazine.

you can find this magazine in bookstore everywhere in Japan.
I've made a special sushi cake for their order.

Year of the horse

so now is openning of 2014.

Appear to TV

My work wwas on TV program "ohayo call (which means morning call)
It was on 5:10 am in dec.10th in Kansai area on Channel 6.
My appearance time was short(almost 4 and half minute) but
it was fun!

Actually I made a lot vegetable carving for this week.
I made for my friend and restaurant but Fortunately It
overlapped with a TV coverage :)

I'm on the newspaper :)

The reporter of the Asahi shinbun「朝日新聞（夕刊）」 visited my restaurant for making an article of newspaper.
The article was  placed on November 20th.

It was about my vegetable art!!
I made few vegetable carving for it.

because I can use a lot of ingredients then

Welcome!! Ambassador Kennedy

I made a one vegetable carving today.

Her name is Caroline Bouvier Kennedy..
She is a new ambassador for Japan!

I chose the red and white vegetable
( sweet potato and red daikon) to the feeling of celebration.
I have read a lot about JFK and Robert.K long time ago.
(The books wrote by the author of "Nobuhiko Ochiai")

Therefore I'm glad that she decided to come to Japan :)

In Japan, we usually combine the red and white for Celebration.
(maybe other country do the same)
I hope the world will be more peaceful.

Congratulations to be installed as theambassador of the United States.
And Welcome to Japan!
